📋 How It Works
Request Your Forever Kit
Go to Settings > Forever Kit and click "Create Export". Choose full tree export or specific branches/date ranges.
We Package Everything
We compile all your memories into organized folders: photos in one folder, audio in another, PDFs of stories, etc. Can take a few hours for large trees.
Download Your Archive
Receive a download link (via email) to a ZIP file containing everything. Files organized logically, with index HTML for easy browsing.
Store Anywhere Forever
Save to external hard drive, cloud storage (Google Drive, Dropbox), or burn to DVD. Your memories are now portable and permanent.

❓ Frequently Asked Questions
How big is the download? Will it fit on a flash drive?
Depends on photos/videos. Average tree: 2-5GB. Large trees with videos: 20-50GB. We'll tell you size before you download.
What format are the files?
Standard formats: JPG for photos, MP3/M4A for audio, MP4 for video, PDF for text. Plus HTML index you can open in any browser.
Can I re-import a Forever Kit into Firefly Grove later?
Not currently, but coming soon. For now, Forever Kit is for backup/ownership, not migration between accounts.
Do private memories get included?
Only YOUR private memories. You can't export other people's private content, even if you're admin.
How often should I create a Forever Kit?
Annually is good. After major family events (reunions, deaths, births) is smart. We keep copies on our servers too, but redundancy is wise.
